T 680 freezes when I send Text Messages! - Treo Forum

Hey Guys,
Its hard enough having an american phone over here in europe, even worse when things go wrong. Access to internet is sporadic at best but the main problem at the moment is my phone freezing, for as long as 5 minutes, when i send text messages. ANy suggestions. I have deleted any dodgy 3rd party software and it is only this action that causes it to freeze. I can receive and read no problem.

Alex, I'll assume you've got an unlocked 680 and you're using a "local" SIM. Send text/SMS messages will be very carrier dependent. You might want to change this thread title to something like 680 Texting in Europe, and get the transatlantic road warriors' feedback on this topic.
