![]() | TREO 680 and tmobile sim card So i've searched around and tried everything I've found on setting up an unlocked 680 to tmobile. So I resorted to asking. I have a prepaid sim from tmobile, and an unlocked 680. I put it in and it works for voice. But data I can't get, like all my numbers, web, email. I tried making my own (Tzones settings) in connection but it still wouldnt connect. Let me know what I'm doing wrong or missing. Thanks |

![]() | Go to Apps>Prefs>Network and select T-Zones from the Service drop menu. So browse the web, connect to T-Zones service. Once connected stop loading by pushing the red X in the upper left hand corner on the current page. Access the menu by tappin on Blazer, go to Options then Preferences... Go to Advanced Tab, tap on Set Prozy. Check the box that says Use Custom Proxy and the proxy server is 216.155.165.50 and Port is 8080. These settings should work for Mail as well. Hope this helps. |

![]() | Alright so I imported my sim contacts, but all my tmobile contacts didn't come up only about 4 of them did. I figured out that my contacts aren't stored on my sim but on the tmobile server, b/c I have a sidekick it stores all the information I guess at tmobile somewhere. Is there a way to bring all that info onto my 680 so I can get all my contacts back? Also I still havent gotten the internet working on my phone. Once again I am using a prepaid tmobile sim card, I used to use it with my sidekick (so I would get free txts, free internet, free email) and I'm trying to get that on my treo now. Thank you. |

![]() ![]() | I'm not so sure you're going to be able to get that sim to work on the data side, so email, internet, would not be accessible. Messaging show work since that's on the telco side of the system. Probably something to do with the differences in modems in the sidekick vs the treo.
