Can I Flash a Cingular 680 to an UNLOCKED 680?

Just wondering if I were to buy a Cingular branded 680, could I flash the ROM to an UNLOCKED ROM to use with my T-Mobile SIM card? I really, REALLY want to get a copper 680, but the only ones that are left are the Cingular branded versions.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

You wouldn't need to flash the ROM to get the phone to work on T-Mobile, you just need to get it unlocked

Check eBay for Unlocked ones. They may be Cingular or at&t branded, but they could still be unlocked.

I know I could use them if they're unlocked, but I'd still prefer not having Cingular's custom software on there. I'd prefer a clean ROM.

Any ideas if it's even possible?
