hi there! i have a little problem with regard to the incoming SMS messages

hi everyone! someone mentioned that this might be a good place to ask for some suggestions on how to solve certain problems i just started having today.

i have a treo 680 (unlocked) which ive had for about 9 months. i wasnt sure which thread to attach my message to, so i apologize if these problems have been talked about before.

anyway, i recently discovered that the incoming SMS messages i received are not complete. they're cut. before, i was able to receive long messages - when people send me 3-4 messages, im able to read everything without any problems. but today, i discovered that even if the message is only 2 messages long, its still cut. i only receive the 1st part of the message & maybe a couple of characters from the succeeding messages. ive tried doing a soft & hard reset but this hasnt corrected the problem.

also, my stylus works fine when im using it to open applications/options. however, when i try to use it to move the scroll bar on the side of the screen (either the up or down button) it doesnt seem to respond at all. if i use the navigation keys, then its fine. but i prefer using my stylus and im not sure what could be causing the problem since it works alright when i click other items on the screen. it just doesnt work with respect to the scroll bar. ive tried recalibrating the screen/stylus, but that hasnt solved the problem. neither has resetting my phone fixed it.

any possible solutions? id really appreciate it if you have any ideas on how to correct these problems. thanks alot!
