A Case for your Treo680?

I was curious as to how many people use a case for their treo 680. I have been using the Sena Case with the MagnetFlipper (Here) for quite some time now. I like the case because it protects my treo, but I dont really care for the 'look' that my treo has when it is in the case. So, yesterday, I decided to order the Palm Air Case with Holster (Here). I'll be sure to let everyone know what I think once I get it and use it.

There are most days when I decide to use my Sena Case, but there are days (like today and the last two days for example) when I decide to show off the look of my treo. I am hoping that this Air Case with keep my Treo safe while not taking anything from the look of the Treo.

Ok... so my question is, what case do you use? Or dont you use one at all?

I had a Proporta case for my Palm m125, one for my Treo 600, and I've just ordered one for my new Treo 680. I dropped the 600 quite a few times and never had any problems.

(The case I bought for the Treos were the aluminum ones. I reckon they're the strongest though I'm sure the others are good too).

Hi. Just got my first Treo (680) last week. I've ordered a cradle and protective screen covers from eforcity. I've been wondering if I should get a case. I want to keep it protected, but also don't want to add any bulk. Is a case really necessary to protect the Treo? Maybe a skin...?

I have the Seidio skin and holster for skinned Treo, works great, I've dropped it a few times not a scratch. The skin comes off easily and it keep the Treo in place on my car dash or any hard surface.

I would say that something (whether its a case or skin) is highly recommended to protect your Treo. You'll definately regret it if you drop your phone and you dont have something protecting it.

I have a Palm belt holster that I use to carry my Treo. I also use egrips and a Boxwave screen protector. Most of the day, my Treo sits in a cradle so I'm not handling it that much.

Thanks for the input. I'll check into a case for it. Makes sense.

I've gone with combination of a Covertec pouch and egrips on my 680, as well as my previous 600, 650. The case/pouch has an excellent belt clip with enough rotation to not try to unclip from my belt when seated in the car. Also the magnetic latch is easily opened by hand yet secure in the pouch. And egrips are just the best way of having a near naked Treo in hand without risk of it slipping away while show off my Copper Treo. I'm always whippin' the Treo out of the pouch to check a database or something and just quickly putting it back in the pouch. I hate saying this, on risking the forces of the cosmos, but I haven't drop my Treo in probably three years.

I'm in between the SPE slim case and holster Treo Cases | Smartphone Experts SkinCase + SkinHolster Combo | Treonauts Accessories Store

and the palm air.

Anyone have these and have any opinions?

Thanks
