Are you using a case that is muffling the sound coming from the rear speaker?

Sorry, sometimes the most obvious are the hardest to see.

Have you added any new software lately, and noticed a change afterwords? Also, have you considered looking into a program like Volumecare?

Oh, its no problem. I'm just curious why you've started having problems hearing it. It just popped up all the sudden one day?

Unhappy Hello from Scallywag

I am new to Treonauts as I just purchased a Palm Treo 680 because I used to use Tugestun T5. My last mobile was a Motorola and pretty good.

The new phone is great for having PDA functions and a phone all-in-one but I am not happy with the speaker sound which is too low and also not having fancy ringtones that I could just download via bluetooth.

I have yet to fall in love with my new companion.

Regards,
Scallyway

I have a problem with the speaker volume ONLY on phone calls. For anything else it is loud and clear. I got Volume Care thinking it would help, but it didn't touch the speaker volume for phone calls.

I don't understand how it can work so loud that I never have it at full volume for audible books, music, GPS, etc., yet when I am on the phone it is so quiet it is useless. I keep checking settings to see if I accidentally did something to cause it to be so quiet, but everything looks set up properly.
