Problems with ringtones playing... - Treo Forum

I have a 680 and i downloaded minitones to make ringtones. However the ringtones i make only play for like 1-4 sec (depending on what song it is). I make all my ringtones about 30 seconds but when i try to set it in prefs it only plays for a few seconds. If anyone knows anything about the subject or can help me i would appreciate it very much!

So the ringtones you've made are 30 secs long, but only play for 1-4 sec? When you have it set as a ringtone and someone calls, does it just loop a 4 sec clip?

no, it doesnt even loop.. it plays for a short amount of time and then stops...i made several other ringtones and a few of them played through but almost all of them did the 1-4 sec thing...i tried looking to see if the size of the file was too big or anything that might cause it to do this but i cant seem to figure it out..

Have you tried a soft reset? Also, have you added any other programs recently?
