 | Treo 680 Dial Up internet connection Is it possible to use an unlocked treo 680 to make a phone call and connect to an ISP in order to navigate on the internet ? I have a treo 680 and will like to call a local internet dial up to connect to surf the internet, download my mail and so on using the Blazer web program that comes with the treo. Can this be done ? Do I need a special software to do this ? How can I configure the treo to do so ? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Livianin |

| Unfortunately not, the modem in your phone is only designed to connect to cellular services and not PSTN. Any reason why you can't use your carriers data services?

| The idea behind this was to use a local free access ISP provider and avoid paying the high charges of my carriers data services plans. Thanks for your guidance, at least now I can stop wasteing my time trying to make work something that is impossible to do. Quote:
