![]() | Hi all, I am having a terrible problem with my Treo 680 on AT&T. I am using the unlocked 680, not the Cingular 680. When I am transferring data, I know I can't get phone calls because it's not 3G, but my calls are also not being transferred to my voicemail. The caller hears "This is not a valid number" instead. I figured the phone should at least be able to transfer the calls to my voicemail! This is terrible. I'm afraid to use my data because I don't want to miss a call. It's my only phone so if I get a call for a job interview or something they will think I gave them the wrong number or my phone account was canceled. I checked my call forwarding and it is enabled and my voicemail phone number is in there properly. Help! I love everything about this phone except for this. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Might try contacting your provider. If your Treo is set to forward calls to voicemail, this sounds more like a network issue on their end.

![]() | Forgot is absolutely correct. Contact your carrier as it sounds like they messed up when they setup voicemail on your phone. Explain the problem and they should be able to figure it out. |

![]() | Oh OK, so I am correct in thinking that this phone should indeed always forward to voicemail. Cool...that helps a lot. I called customer service 3x now and I;m getting people that aren't able to help me..they kept saying my voicemail was set up right, but they didn't seem to understand fully. I Was getting worried that there was a hardware limitation of my phone or something. I will just have to call again and get a tier 2, I think. Thanks! ![]()

![]() | While you have one of them on the phone, initiate a Data connection on your Treo and ask them to call it so they can see what happens. |

![]() | Awesome! I did what you guys said - luckily it seems that this time I got a CSR that knew what they were talking about. It turns out my voicemail was not set up properly, even though 3 people had looked at it and told me it was. It was set to forward to "number not in service" or whatever, rather than to my voicemail. I suspect if I had turned my phone off and gotten a call, the same thing would have happened. I am so happy that this is fixed now. So far I really love this phone. I have had such bad luck with Windows Mobile - the only thing left to make palm perfect is for a new OS and 3G /multitasking capability, but I'm not holding my breath there. Still, for my specific use case scenario, this guy blows every WM phone I have had away. Thanks so much for your help. I googled all day and couldn't find any info.
