Low internal memory problems?

I have a 680 that I've been using for about 4 months. In the last week or so I've been experiencing increasing restarts and other problems. The most prevelant problem would be incomng sms's. If the ringer was set to audible, the 680 would crash each time I rcvd a sms. I though it might be a problem with the program, Ringo, so I deleted it. Resetting didn't go away. I performed the AT&T update, and it seems as if the problems may have been due to that, so I reloaded all programs from scratch after a hard reset. I fixed the sms problem, but still get the occasional restart. I noticed i only have 8 megs of free internal space, so I'm wondering if this could be a cause of the problem. I've tried deleting any superflous programs in the internal memory, but i can only seem to get to about 10 megs of free space. Do you think there is a hidden memory hog? Could the restarts be due to the low memory issue? Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

Low memory can cause problems such as those you're experiencing, you could use something like PowerRun to run your apps from the SD card and thus freeing up the internal memory
