Ability to use non-system alert on VersaMail?

Hi, I've been using versamail on my treo to keep up to date with my several gmail accounts. Recently I downloaded an mp3 clip that would be perfect to use for my email notification alert sound, however, when I go into VersaMail preferences I see that the only possible alert sounds are 6 or 7 'system' sounds. Does anyone know a way for me to use my custom sound for the alert? I can get it for texts, and everything else, but not this! My hubby suggested that I find some kind of program that can browse the file systems of the OS and insert that mp3 into the folder that contains the rest of the 'system' sounds. Would this be the best option? If so where can I find such a program. The Files program I have only lets me browse the contents of my external card. Thanks for any suggestions

Have you looked into Butler or Phone Technician? They have trial versions and see if that fits the bill. Go to the treonauts store and you should find it under utilities.

Thanks, but neither of those do what I need to do. So does anyone know of a good (hopefully freeware) program that I can use to browse and move files into the Treo system folders?

An application called Filez will allow you to do this, but if your not careful you can insert a file in the wrong spot and really cause some issues. That being said, you've peaked my interest in the idea. Hmmmm.....
