![]() ![]() | Though not free ($6.99 shareware), it looks like RingerSwitch Pro will let you set the color of your LED to notify of the ringer being off. It's not going to turn it on for you, but at least you might notice the LED. |

![]() | i don't use a treo as a clock, but i do use my cell phone, but it's on and on me 24/7 anyways, in case of emergencies, which as i have concluded happen very often to me or people around me for some reason, lol. I'll prolly end up using my old phone for my alarm for once i get my treo *edit* the reason for not using a treo is because i don't have mine yet

![]() | Thanks so much for all the suggestions. They got me looking around for programs, and I finally managed to find one program which fixed all my problems: mobileCLOCK. It's a much better alarm clock than the world clock that comes with the Treo. I had 2 problems with the alarm: 1. The snooze button was the same size as the clear button and was right next to it. 2. I kept forgetting my phone was on silent and the alarm clock gave no notification of that when I was setting it. Both of these problems caused me to sleep through the alarm several times, either by accidentally hitting clear instead of snooze, or it never going off at all because it was on silent. mobileCLOCK lets you set multiple alarms instead of just one, and it makes it so that touching anywhere on the screen snoozes it, while you have to actually hit a button on the Treo to turn it off. This is fantastic, as it makes it nearly impossible to accidentally turn off the alarm no matter how clumsy/groggy/still half asleep I am when I stumble over to it to press snooze in the morning. Not only that, it also puts up a bright yellow sign with an exclamation point on it when the phone is in silent mode when you're setting the alarm. This thing is nearly impossible to miss when I'm setting the alarm late at night when I'm already half asleep. Plus, it also has a timer or stopwatch you can use as well. Sparknotes version of this post: mobileCLOCK rocks. If you plan on using your Treo as an alarm clock, I would highly recommend getting this program. It fixed the only thing I didn't like about the Treo. |
