TEXT messaging problem - Treo Forum

I know this will sound dumb and I should know better but I am having a senior moment. Humor an old man in a young man errrr .... young persons world

I added a program to my 680 a couple of weeks ago that would allow me to text to several people at same time and when they responded it would go to the group. I have forgotten the programs name. So I don't even know what to look for. I can not seem to find it on the phone. When I go to top right corner where I usually can choose ALL, Main, Utilities , etc. I thing I used to be able to choose Card and see programs on card but card is no longer listed. I am sure it is simple and I doing something totally stupid. The new texting program is apparently on and every time I text now it sends a text to the person I wanted it to but also sends the same message back to me. When I send messages my inbox shows a number like 88133 or 43526 rather than the name of the person as it used to that I sent the message to. When I go to FileZ it seems to only show what is on internal.

Does anyone have an idea what I have done? I do have TAKEphone, FileZ

I think its called 3Jam. I don't personally have any experience with the program, so I'm not sure about the settings.

43526 is the 3jam reply to all app. Go to 3Jam - Reply-all Text Messaging and see how to disable it. I am not to familiar with the app. I do have but have not used it. Once again, 43526 is the 3jam reply all app.

I just downloaded it in order to to see how it works. I actually like it. You can use it to send it to many friends and the cool thing is that those friends will actuall know who else received it. Sort of like chat, with messaging.
