And now for something completely different!

I have a most appreciated unlocked 680 which I've used daily since receiving it last december. It is further loaded with Filemaker Mobile (excellent!), Zagat to go (wonderful!) and Wine Enthusiast (mediocre...).

I use many of its standard function such as calendar, memos (keep so many things in there, wonder how I did business before!..), Docs to go...

The phone is much more stable and crashes much less than the 650 but it is still slow in roaming compared to the most basic Nokia...

It links easily to the cars I have fitted with bluetooth (an Audi A8 and a Rolls), I also use the wireless Treo headset a lot.

But, the other day, it crashed while trying to catch a phone call and wouldn't show the wallpaper photo afterwards (black image)...

Worse, the phone button now activates the... calendar!!! And, unlike the other buttons, it cannot be manipulated back in the "personal" & "Buttons" sub-menu of the preferences...

So I am stuck with reverting back to the phone page by using another button!

Any suggestion to refresh my unit?

have you tried a reset, hard or soft?

Well, after posting my text, I glanced through the forum and found a recomendation to upload a prc called BtnFix from Mytreo.net which I duly downloaded and stuffed into my 680
IT DID THE JOB!!!
...And we, my Treo and I, can live happily thereafter!!!

...if I were a Treo cruising around town in a Rolls, I'd live happily thereafter too!
