Ok, in the other thread you stated that you could sync successfully if the sync calendar option was disabled. Once you've synced your phone, see if you can find the .pdb file for your calendar in your backup folder. When you find it, email to yourself and install it. If it works, then set your hotsync to phone overrides desktop, and sync again.

Greetings Smart Masses,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been trying to straighten out my Treo. Ever since the "critical update" my Treo hasn't been the same. Half the apps crash it when I select them with the action button and Hot sync keeps hanging up on the calendar. I've tried everything, even a hard reboot. Nothing seems to help. Can you help.

Well, if nothing seems to help, and you've already tried a Hard reset, have you considered re-installing the update?

I recommend: due a hard reset, install the update. Then reinstall all of your apps. I just did my MR udate on the 700P and that is how I did. I did a backup of my phone, did a hard reset and then did the MR update. After it was done, I restored my backup and it is all good, for now.

my blazer browser stopped working since i did the update. other internet applications work like email and google, and if i put my SIM card in another phone I can use the internet their. Any ideas or tips about why blazer isnt working? It starts and connects to the internet fine, it just doesnt load any page.

I had same Google Maps issue and also had to reinstall my Voice Dial. My Bluetooth headset is not working but I am not sure I can pin that on the upgrade...yet. I got at&t branded but the Cingular in upper left remains. I cannot say that I notice any of the improvements they advertize. I think at&t just wanted to brand my phone. My Synch was hanging on Tasks. I Synched my Palm to Palm Desktop setting Synch for Tasks do "Do Nothing". My Sych went fine. I then Synched by setting "Desktop to overwrite Handheld". Synch went fine. Then I reset the HotSynch to "Synchronize" Tasks. I was good to go and no problems since. Maybe that will work for you Calendar guys.

Hi! Do i need to update my Treo 680 if its the unlocked version? or do i do this only if its an AT&T unit? Sorry it might be a stupid question. he he

If you go to the link provided at the beginning of this thread, you will see that it says that the update is for Cingular/AT&T only.

I did the update and then hot synch but it hung at synchronizing memos. I did a hard reset and restore. Re synched and it hung at the same place-memo's.

I'm in trouble. Any ideas
