The battery out reset should help, but your really getting some good life out of your 680. I have a cradle by my bed, a car charger, and a spare/work charger just in case. I'm a pretty heavy user, and by the end of the day I'm my charge is low, but not enough to send me running for the charger. Just jogging.

I never did the "Battery Out Reset" with my 680, but it did take almost 2 weeks to get decent use out of it.

I too have a home and car charger and use my hotsync cable to charge while at work.

I considered the extended capacity batteries from Seidio but a) I didn't like the additional size it added, and b) after buying the crystal case and Hold N Fling holster, I refuse to give them any more money!

I guess I should have done some more research to see what kind of reputation Seidio had as I've come across a lot of unhappy people. Add me to the list.

Yeah, the blogs been pretty harsh on them in the past. Sadly they're one of the biggest in this market and like sony, it just breeds arrogance.

The treo is also a bit awkward to design for if you think about it, it's got openings on all sides bar one (the right), it's got a touch screen which needs to be touched, a switch which needs to be switched and little side buttons that no-one knows the name for. It's got a massive connector on the bottom, a camera and mirror on the back above the speaker phone...an irport and sdcard slot on the top...

It's god damn torture device for designers

Or if you're a 680, 750 or 755 user, there are necessary parts to access. Memory slot on the right and possibly IR port (750, 755)

One more thing, I charged my 680 this afternoon, when I unplug the charger it became 98% (dropped 2%) is this normal?

And from 6pm it was 98% until 12:00am it was 85%
I am not frequently using it, beam is turned off, on-silent mode, vibrate is turned off as well and keypad is locked.

I think that is a bit fast right? To discharge that amount???.
That is a pretty decent discharge rate. After 2 weeks to a month it will be even better. I think that the reason that it says 98% after you unplug it from the charger is because unlike other phones these chargers or maybe the phone does do a trickle charge after it reaches 100% so when the light is green the battery isn't charging anymore. I know every morning after charging my phone at night it says 96%. Not sure how accurate the battery meter is anyway.
