Ring tones on SD card - Treo Forum

Before I reseted my phone, I had a few ring tones that I recorded. I copied them to my SD card awhile back. After I've reseted my phone, I wanted to copy the ring tones back to the phone so I can use them. However, when I go to the copy option, my ring tones aren't listed. How do I go about getting the ring tones back? I know it's on my SD card.

You may have to use a program called Filez or Fileprog. These two programs allow you to move, delete and copy files to and from your SD card. You can find them at freewarepalm.com or freeware-palm.com or any other website that offers them, of course.

You can use a free program called Mini Tones to copy your mp3's from your SD card to the phone. Very simple and quick to do.

Ooo...does mini tones allow you to turn the MP3's into ring tones too?

Absolutely!! I made my own ringtones from my favorite songs. You can trim a song to make only a certain part of the song serve as the ringtone...it's very easy.

Just remember though, adding those ringtones can eat up some of your RAM/ROM or whatever it is now-a-days.
