Recovering from Hard Reset - Treo Forum

I had to perform a hard reset on my 680. I followed the instructions from the Palm support site and changed my backup file to backup.old as was suggested. Most of my info was saved because I try to load as much as possible onto my SD card. I did have some nursing and medical software on the phone that I am having to reload.
I have two questions.
I had my applications grouped by categories. Now that I have done the hard reset, the only programs or applications that I see to assign categories are the ones loaded on the phone. How can I see the programs on the SD card to reassign. Or, is there a file in my old backup file to reload that would replace that info?
Some of the programs I am reloading are locked onto the phone so that I cannot send them to the SD card. Is there a way to unlock them so they can be moved?

I recently exchanged my 680 so its like a hard reset. All I did was sync it to my PC and all the progams were installed (Volume Care and Google Maps). The programs on the SD card remained on the SD card without problems.
