Looking for a case for the 680 - Treo Forum

For safety sake, I like to use a leather pouch, top load case. I have one, but being in the case makes hard to hear the phone in noisy places. Does anyone know of such a case that has a cutout for the speaker. I have looked at the case that Palm has and there is a cutout for the speaker, buy it looks like the phone stands out too far from the hip because of the type of belt clip. Also, I may consder Clip-in Holster if anyone has had experience with one that does not flip out the phone accidently when brushing against something.

I bought the Seidio holster and was relatively happy with it but I wanted something to also protect the phone in case it came out of the holster or I dropped it. I then got the Seidio black "skin" for the 680 and put it on. Now with the skin on it wouldn't fit in the holster. So then I had to buy the Seidio holster made for the phone and skin. I am now very happy with the combo and it works well. Have not had the phone come out accidentally or even with my 2and 4 year old children trying to pull it out. Good luck.

I use the Vaja i-Volution Case. They are pricey, but worth the money and craftsmanship!. It fits awesome and tight. Made like a fine leather jacket...no cheap materials.

I am 110% happy with it and have retuned many other $20-$60 cases. I needed the protection and like the fact that it gives the phone a good grip.

I'm waiting for my Invisible Shield to arrive and then won't have to worry about needing a case any longer!!

I still havn't found the perfect leather case. Top load for the 680 not a one that fits all sizes like I so often see. Also no one seems to address the speaker issue. It is too hard to hear when in the case in noisey areas. Palm makes one that seems to be good for the speaker, but the belt clip is terrible. It makes the case stick out too far from the hip. Also it is not 680 specific for proper fit. You would think that, by now, someone would be producing the perfect case. It really isn't all that hard. Make it with the Phone facing toward the belt with a slight cut-out in front for the speaker and a fixed belt clip so it fits close to the body. If anyone knows of any such case, please respond.

I've been very happy with my Krusell Classic Multidapt Case for Palm Treo 680 (89237). It fits well. The cut-outs are well placed. And it just basically offers good protection to the phone while still making it convenient to use all the different parts of the phone and the different features. Another good thing is the low price.
