Broken Palm 680 Screen - need to replace screen - Treo Forum

Hi Guys,
I dropped my palm 680, and need to replace my screen. Does anyone know where I could buy a palm 680 screen from??? I want to repair it myself, but cant find any online sources for the 680 screen, since it is comparitively new.

Does anyone know if any of the other palm phone screens are compatible with the palm 680?

Let me know if anyone has info ...

I have the same problem. A broken screen. Have you heard any suggestions as to what can be done with a Treo 680 with a broken screen?

There are several sites where you can get parts or get them fixed... sorry... don't have those handy right now.

But... I broke mine... and then thought it through. It was cheaper to add a line to my plan and get the free one with a new line. So I have a line I don't use... not a big expense.

I checked out pdaparts.com. They have the LCD & digitizer screen for the Treo 680, but they're the most expensive I've found yet. Unfortunately permancepda.com didn't have the screens for the 680. I'll keep up my hunt for one.

I did find a local place that will replace it for me for just $25 if I supply the LCD screen w/ digitizer so I'm going to keep looking for the best buy on one.

Thanks for those that had suggestions and places to go look. I appreciate it A LOT!!!

I saw some on ebay for around $75, I believe. I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not.

The one I purchased is the LCD & digitizer from pdaparts.com. $99 is a little pricey, but for peace of mind it was worth it to me. Its not in yet, but I'll post a few pics of the replacement when I get it.
