Problems with 680 and BT headset - Treo Forum

Yet another question from me:

When I got my 680 last week, I immediately paired it with a new motorola h700BT headset and used it with no problem.

Suddenly, over the weekend, when I would flip open the boom, the headset icon would fail to appear on the 680 display and I was unable to use it for calls,

I've tried re-pairing it and the phone recognises the headset then but it comes up with a message saying something along the lines of "this device can't be paired, please retry." I have retried repeatedly and get the same message.

Anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? Could it have anything to do with the battery drain procedure?

make sure your bluetooth is turned on .

that's usualy my problem.

Yes, bluetooth is on.

My H700 now only lets me listen to callers but they can't hear me. I've re-paired the headset and I still have that same issue. Is it just time for a new headset??
