Treo 680 displaying favorites from Treo 600 - Treo Forum

I recently moved up to a 680 and in the migration process it appears that my favorites have haunted my SIM card. I can delete the old ones that no longer matter but if I replace the battery----they reappear.

I've tried deleting the ContactsSimDB-PAdd file with no luck.

I also see nothing when I access the SIM Phonebook application.

Anyone know how to eliminate these phantom records?

Ok, just to be clear: Your see them as favorites in your phone app, but they don't appear at all in the SIM phone book?

Yes, that's it. Nobody in the SIM Book, no records in contacts that have been marked for export to the SIM, nada. Remove and reinstall the battery and they are reincarnated like a backup program with a mind of its own.

The final story: Did a hard reset, renamed the sync id on the computer to disable, sync'd and reloaded programs. No more ghosts.
