Phone soft reset on answering call - Treo Forum

when i select the on screen button to answer a call (once) or when I select the home button while on the phone (twice). Happened to me 3 times this morining. I have Launcher X installed with is the default app mapped to the home button.

Anyone noticed this weird behavour or problems.

Others have complained about a similar problem and figured out it was 3rd party application (can't remember which one). I think it was phone technician and another one. Anyway, try using the search.

I don't have phone technician, but have had my phone reset a couple of times while transferring from one call to another.....

Sounds like a software cliches from the replies so far. I want to see if anyone thinks it's a hardware button thing.

I had the same problem and solved it by unistalling Ringo soft. see thread here:

I never had the problem again since

I don't have Ringo soft installed. I have Technician which gives me the ring tone option.

Agree with wuju. Same problem here, I was geting these soft resets all the time. Wiped out Ringo... and my 680 has been a bliss since... :-)
