Phone App & Auto Power Feature Issue???

Was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue.

I have the auto screen power off set to 15sec and auto dim while on call to 30sec. I noticed that if I dial a number that takes longer than usual to establish (at the point when you hear ringing), it will ring about three times, then the screen will go dark. I don't hear anything else and since the screen is dark, no status. Naturally, the only way to see what’s going on is to turn the screen back on by pressing the red button, and that initiates a hang up.

Now, if I set the auto screen off to 30sec, I don’t have this issue. Am I missing something or is there a bug with the phone app. Since you are trying to initiate a call, the screen shouldn't shut off on you since it will dim out anyway after 30sec.
