Changing your voice mail number on Treo 680 - Treo Forum

Hi all,

I understand that by holding the number one key, it will automatically dial your voice mail number. However, in Canada, we need to add the local 3 digits in addition to the seven digit phone numbers.

My problem is holding the number one key dials only the seven digit numbers, so is there a way to edit it in Treo 680 to add the local area three digit numbers? Is it something that must be changed in the SIM card and nothing can be done from Treo 680?

Find the answer: Go into the Phone app, and then the STAR (shortcut) tab. Highlight the Voicemail shortcut, then go MENU, E(dit). You can change the number there
