using 650 battery in 680 - Treo Forum

I notice that it's easy to fit the 650 battery in the 680. has anyone tried that? is there any reason that I should not do that? appart from sticking out, it seems that an old 650 battery is a useful thing to carry around in case the battery dies on the 680?

People have been using the batteries without problems.

Extended battery back for the 680 (so it can take regular batteries) will be available soon...
