| A Few Questions....  |  680 colours being discontinued? Hello everyone I stopped into the Palm store in Atlanta airport yesterday to finally see a Crimson 680 in the flesh. (I am lusting but can't afford one right now.) The sales guy told me that Palm is discontinuing the color models and that if I'm thinking of buying a red one I should do so now. Has anyone heard this or was he just trying to make a quick sale? Thanks for your input. |

 | Interesting...haven't heard that. I have to fly out on a business trip the 31st (I live in the Atlanta area) and I was planning to stop by the Palm store on my way out. I will see if I get the same story out of them. I have noticed that some of the phone sales websites like mobilecityonline are advertising the colored 680's as awaiting for their stock to arrive, and they are taking orders. |

| I made my first post!  | Yes, this is partly true. Palm is discontinuing the Copper color in the Treo 680 line. I have no idea why, as I thought Copper was a fairly big seller. But they are not discontinuing Crimson. You can even check it out on their website. I just bought my Copper 680 3 days ago. I think I might have bought the last one!  |

| Discontinuing it, they only brought it out a couple of months ago  Us Europeans haven't seen any colours yet, well apart from the standard granite, at this rate we never will

| A Few Questions.... | No More Unlocked Colors!! I went online last night to finally order my crimson 680, only to see that as of today, only Cingular branded phones will be available in colors and the unlocked version will only be sold in graphite! WHAAAAAA???!! Luckily, after calling around I finally found one out of state at the Atlanta airport store and I ordered it over the phone. But really, couldn't Palm have given us some sort of notice?!! Anyway, just a heads up for people who have been putting off their purchase. Seize the day! |
