Treo 680 / MyMail / Gmail / Rogers - Treo Forum

I just purchased a Treo 680 from Rogers in Canada and am setting up my Gmail account with MyMail.

The problem I'm having is that not only the messages I receive in my Gmail inbox get sent to MyMail, but also the email messages that I SEND out from Gmail.

For example, I receive a new email which shows up in my Gmail box as well as MyMail. I use Gmail to send a reply and then archive the original message. I then receive the same message I sent from Gmail, in my MyMail inbox.

Anyone know of a way to change this or is this just the way it works with Gmail unfortunately?

Are you forwarding email between your GMAIL account and a Rogers YAHOO (MyMAIL) account. Have you thought of using Versamail rather than the the Rogers MyMail and collecting gmail using Versamail?

There is a setting on the MyMail website that asks you if you want to receive copies of all your emails. I use this so that I have copies on my desk top PC.
If you want to change it log in (https://www.mymail.rogers.com/) and go to the settings tab and remove the check mark by the "Send me a copy of all outgoing e-mail messages for Internet mailboxes" sentence. That should do it.
