![]() ![]() | Came home from work to find my Treo and BodyGuardz sitting on the coffee table and my smiling wife sitting on the couch. After I exclaimed it wasn't nice to tease she laughed and said she tortured me long enough. I just put the BodyGuards on and am about to begin the battery conditioning. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (I will write a review up of the BodyGuards installation a little later tonight...err this morning)

![]() | Congratulations, if I'm lucky, I could be doing the same thing tonight provided my Treo gets shipped in 24 hours as it should and is indeed new. |

![]() ![]() | Fingers crossed for you. It is almost overwhelming at first, the differences from a standard phone to a smartphone. I know with time and experience I will continue to unlock aspects of the phone, but out of the box it seems daunting, though fun.

Ultimately, to keep my Treo cost me a Centro but now there's peace and harmony in the Dervy household.Back to the battery calibration; the first time I tried this I'm pretty sure having Chatteremail+ set to launch on reboot ruined the result. With my 3,300 mAh battery, it's always only charged up to 94% or so; this was knocked down to 85% but in use, that 85% went a lot further! | |

![]() | The Glen Phenomenon could be a reality, I performed periodic soft resets all day yesterday and have used my phone as I normally do, I spent 40% battery life (actually about 33% because the phone started out with 93% but I'm calling it 40% because not being charged 100% is also a battery issue) in a full 24 hour cycle, normally I spend 60% in 12 hours, today begins my second day running on a single charge. I want to determine what actually drains power, I'll look for apps that give detailed information about power consumption because 40% in 24 hours is what this phone should be like, imagine with a 1600mAh battery, it would last as much as the 650 does. For the record, I am still not using any power saving applications like Power Hero and the brightness is at around 30%, I haven't used bluetooth or my gprs internet connection, I played games on my way to work and on the way home and made a moderate number of calls, I keep my phone on during the night (this night I went to bed early because of my cold, I slept a full 9 hours and the phone only lost 3% battery life in this time).
