saving contacts - Treo Forum

Does anyone know how to save all contacts to your sim card? thanks!

i don't think there's a way to mass export all contacts. you have to do it one by one, unless you have the option to export all in your contacts menu.

im not trying to export or import anything, just want to make sure the ones I currently have are on the sim.

ok, when you 'export to sim', that means you're saving your contacts to the sim card, not moving them from the phone to the sim card only. they'll be on the phone and sim card both.

thanks. is there a way to export ALL contacts at once, or do you have to do this 1 by 1?

unless your contacts menu says something to the effect of 'export all', you have to do it one by one.

I had this same issue when i got my 680..there is a much simpler way to do this.. Are you trying to put all your contacts from an old PALM on your 680?

Hmm..still one way they could improve the treo as a phone! THis is a basic function in so called "dumb" phones...and in doing so at least give the option to export only numbers for contacts (or make it mandatory as a most SIMs can only handle phone numbers and not addresses, etc)
