can't stop 680 from streaming music - Treo Forum

Hello,

This is my first post and it did a search and didnt come up with anything remotely close to my problem. I have the data plan and went through the web browser, clicked on a local radio station to see if I could listen to the streaming music. It worked, and it sounded great.

....but then I tried to check my email and look over something on my website and could not get the radio station to release my treo

I have turned it off, I have disconnected the internet connection in preferences. When I reconnect the connection it defaults to playing the music and there isnt anything I can find to fix this, on the 650 there is a pulldown in the first column that says disconnect, but the 680 doesn't have that option.

I don't know what else to do.

the website it is stuck on its http://www.999thehawk.com then you would click on listen live and the music would buffer and start playing.....

Please help me figure this out.

Welcome to Treonauts Bryan....

The only way I can think of at this moment would be to clear your history in blazer and make sure http://www.999thehawk.com is not your home page.

Also I'd make sure that it isn't in your bookmark, you can always put the web address in when you want to stream music.

maybe you have your phone set to load the last page... maybe change it to nothing or a home page (that hopefully isn't that site!).

Ok when i go to preferences i can stop the internet connection, but not change anything else, favorites or homepage or anyhting like that....when i tap on the web icon in open and says redrawing at the top for about 1.7 seconds while that is happening it doenst except and other taps or commands or button imput. Anyway it redraws...buffers then starts playing the music again, I have it silenced by the buton on top of the treo for muted everythign, the only way i can get it to stop is by going into preferences and disconnecting the internet connection...but then the visious cycle continues....any other idea would be greatly appreciated...

I just pulled the battery,

and the palm reset and no more streaming music radio station

, I guess i will have to find a different radio station to listen to

thank you for the welcome, and the idea...I plan on getting that site out of my cache and memory, dont wnat ot have to keep pulling the battery everytime I listen to music, but it is a solution.....
