Battery charge drop immediately?

Has anyone else noticed (and figured out how to fix) a drop immediately after taking it off the charger?

Mine regularly drops to between 93-99% a second or two after I unplug the charger, even though the light is green, and it says 100% while plugged in.

Is this something I need to be concerned about? I've had it for about 3 weeks now. I'd say it usually drops to between 93-97%, but a time or two it's only dropped to 99%. It may be dropping more to the 95-97% in the last week or so, haven't mentally made the note to know for sure, but still doesn't seem right.

It's almost dead now (22% last time I checked), so will probably be dead (or nearly so) by bed time tonight. Will do the "battery reset thing" and see what happens in the morning.

Do I need to contact Palm? HELP!!!!

Apparently everyone's battery is sh!t. At the moment I'm fairly happy with mine, I can get 2 days at least out of it, 3 with moderate use. You have to nurture it a bit though, and I put off bluetooth and beamer when I don't use it.

I charged it to full and let it drain naturally until it shut itself down for about three times. Then after the third time I plugged it back in, pulled the battery out for a minute and put it back in to let it charge to full (the infamous battery reset). That's done the job for me. When I charged it to full yesterday, it was still at 92% six hours later.

Maybe you are experiencing the 'battery use even when turned off' phenomenon I refer to in my poll... please check my thread and poll on that. Are you charging all night then checking it or ??? I ask as I've had a similar thing happen to me (see an older post I put on here too).
