AIM on Treo 680?

As previously posted on another thread, I am on my second 680 but after doing two hard resets, I have not re-installed any third party software. I thought that maybe either MobiTV or AIM might have caused the freezing and looping. I had transferred the AIM s/w used on my 650, but maybe that is causing a problem? I sent an email to Handango, it was forwarded to Kragesoft (developer?) their response is listed below.

Does anyone have info on a new version of AIM for the 680? Nothing is listed on the mobile AOL site. I hesitate re-installing my old version at this point. Thanks.

As indicated in the AOL Service Handheld Software End User License Agreement, which each user accepts with use of the product, AOL does not provide second level assistance other than the information posted on the AOL web site. AOL acknowledges that the application may not operate on your device due to a variety of factors. If the options below should fail to work and you would like a refund within 30 days of purchase, please let us know.

Because, AOL and Handango want you to be fully satisfied with your product purchase, before we resort to a refund, first uninstall and reinstall the software application that is on your device. In between the uninstallation and reinstallation, please make sure that the AOL/AIM software is removed from any backup directories on your device. Then perform a soft reset (refer to your owner's manual for assistance regarding this).
