How to connect a laptop to internet using a Treo 680 and T-Mobile Data Plan?

I have the T-Mobile data plan and would like to use my Treo 680 to connect my laptop to the internet.

Do I need PDAnet with the Treo 680?

If not, how do I set this up.

Please describe using a bluetooth or a usb connection between 680 and the laptop.

Treo 680 DUN on T-Mobile

Are you using a Mac or Windows? I can guide you on both, but Mac instructions would have to wait until I am back in Nevada around the 3rd...

I am using Windows XP Prof. Ed.

I wish to connect the laptop to the Internet using T-Mobile's 'data plan' using the Treo 680. I do not wish to connect using Dial Up Networking as this uses cellphone minutes.

Thanks.

PDANet should work for you. Remember that you need both the desktop and palm top applications for it to work.
