Trouble with pop through Gmail - Treo Forum

I have looked through the boards and haven't seen this posted previously. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I download my Gmail to my computer through Outlook 2003. When I recently got my Treo I wanted to download this mail onto my Treo as well. The only way to receive pop on multiple devices is to use the username "recent:username@gmail.com".

This works... but the problem comes when you try to delete messages from the Treo. It deletes them, but next time it refreshes the mail, it downloads them again. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

you've got a fwd and pop tab in your settings in your gmail account. i believe you have to set the 'When messages are accessed with POP' to delete/archive gmail's copy. give this a try, if it doesn't work we'll try something else.
