Blazer browser and Hotmail - Treo Forum

Hello all,

I received my brand spanking new Crimson 680 and am so far lovin' it. Got all my settings in and so far so good with the Cingular network. This being my first unlocked Treo I thought I might need to program something somewhere but I didn't have to which was just fine by me. Only issue I'm having is checking my hotmail e-mail with the Blazer browser. It says that I need to enable javascript but I did and it still says it's not enabled. Not sure where to go from here. If anyone can help me it would be very much appreciated.

(side note: battery life does stink if you sync your e-mail often... oh well.)

Are you using this url www.msn.mobile.com ?

If so it probably isn't your Treo but a problem with the webpage, don't know when that happened?

Have you checked Palm's page on how to access webmail on the 680? It has a list of mobile friendly URLs for the most common webmail sites. The link for hotmail is http://mobile.msn.com/hm/folder.aspx. I've had no problem getting to my Yahoo mail.

Thanks for the help. I was able to access the e-mail with the links. I just thought it was weird that I was able to just go to hotmail.com with the 650 and am not able to do it with my 680. I usually use gmail for everything to which I sync with versamail and that works just fine. Just every now and then I check in to hotmail to keep the account open. Oh well. I guess there could be worse problems like I've read in other parts of the forum. Knock on wood!

Hi. I just got my new 680. I only use hotmail. Will the web address http://mobile.msn.com/hm/folder.aspx let me access hotmail?
It's ridiculous that the cingular folks sell this device, charging 39.99 dollars a month for "full" internet access and can't access the most popular webpage worldwide which is hotmail. please help!!! thanks!!

I'm glad you were able to access your hotmail, as Lion Md say, it is one of the most popular webpages world wide.

@ LionMD Welcome to Treonauts, the http://mobile.msn.com/hm/folder.aspx will let you access Hotmail on your Treo.
