Drop down menus not working

hey all how is everyone?

ok so the saga -



att unlocked treo 680

Prior to unlock 0 problems except screen frame is cracked which causes screen not to respond. So only buttons but still worked fine.

After I unlocked I got tmobile - receive pix didnt work.

Hard reset caused me to get stuck in digitizer loop cuz of screen so I dl "corrective" a software which claims to fix but it didnt. A few soft reboots and then i got into the phone but then when i went into system pref the digitzier would pop up - solved by moving the preferences back and forth between categories and soft rebooting till finally that digitzer stopped popping up. At some point the drop down menu would drop down but If I pushed the "right" to move thru the drop down menu options it wouldnt go. But it went away.

Someone said that the update fixed my not recieve pictures problem and allowed to receive pix - so I updated:

from 1.03 cng to
Treo680-2.11-ATT

Seemed to go ok by and large.

Everything seems fine now except the drop down menu problem is back.

The "right" arrow allows me to move right at any time except when I drop down the menu. Also when I drop down the menu I can move to select an option but pressing select (middle button) it doesnt work. But choosing the letter of the option does work.

In a nutshell - cant move right in drop down menu and cant select any options in drop down menu except by letter.


I did find the other "drop down menu" thread but that person had a bunch of other problems. Everything is fine on mine exept the above.

Working fine now. A second hard reboot and reinstall and all is well.
