Caller ID Ringtones - Treo Forum

I've edited, converted, and downloaded some ringtones onto my treo and everything works fine so far, but when I try to set those ringtones for any specific number (caller ID ringtones) it won't work. It'll only play the default ringtone. Only the preset ringtones (Alarm, Alarm Flute, Alarm Triangle, etc.) would work as specific / caller ID ringtones.

My guess is that there is a different directory that Treo put these ringtones in. Any idea on how to hack it?

i use ringo pro. you have to import those tones that you want into the palm's memory system and this is the easiest way i've found to do it. right there in the menu it's got an import ringtone from your sd card, as shown below. btw, it will only let you transfer around 63k of a tone, for some reason that's the size limit for the imported tones.

Thanks for the reply, however I'm looking to just straight up doing it without ringo pro. I plan on getting one of those programs that lets you transfer files between your SD and Treo. Something like PowerRun or filez maybe.
