![]() | Verizon Treo 650 flashed to Cricket question. Greetings all. I have been reading the forums on and off for a while, but decided to register and ask my question. I have a Verizon Treo 650 that was flashed to the Cricket network and it works fine. However the internet and MMS do not. I was told that this would be the case, but I just read two topics where someone said that you have to set it up manually to get it to work, and another person who claims to have gotten it to work. If anyone could give me some info about setting this up, I would be very grateful. I have a Sprint Treo 650 that the flash failed on and it isn't able to dial to update, so I am using it for parts. I have swapped the screens, cases, and buttons so far. Just some info if anyone knows about that too. Last edited by King_Xerxes; 07-13-2008 at 01:07 PM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | In my case, I also had to setup my 650 GPRS & MMS manually in my area. It is really not that difficult provided you have the following info such as APN, Password, Proxy Server & Port for GPRS and MMS Gateway Address & MMSC URL for MMS. I got all this info thru my Carrier after bugging them for it. I suggest that you get all the info from your Carrier and try to set them up manually yourself 1st and if that still doesnt work, maybe then you could pm those who have got it working for additional info.

![]() | I am able to adapt what you have said about the internet to my CDMA phone, but not the MMS. I don't have a Messaging tab that I know of. I also don't have a GPRS, but I was able to adapt that much. Thank you for the help you have been giving me. I am still trying to get the MMS working. |

![]() | After mine was flashed, the only thing that needed done was the setting of the Mobile Number, the MIN, Home SID, and Home NID by going to the phone and typing #*#000000# and you will need to have the ESN number registered with Cricket too. The Numbers you need for the MIN, SID, NID, as well as your Phone number, you can get from Cricket on the phone. |
