 | D I D I T ! ! ! :) aka nerds r us My last obstacle to world domination has been breached !!! Took a total (with a couple of beer breaks) of approx. 5 hrs, including extensive post-upload tests......my 650 is now flawlessly using an 8gb SDHC card!  A word or two for those considering this move: Stay focused, know (or else research in real-time) everything you might need to know.....lots has been said about the dangers to your device, and it can brick your Treo if you're not patient and methodical. A bit more like walking a tightrope than rocket science. Breathed new life into an old friend! I don't know why this should be, but apps load from this card a bit faster than they did from my 2GB one. Anyone passing through San Diego........I'm thinking about throwing a CR* party Sat. night. *custom ROM

| Thanks, eclair and brandon........I will definitely do that. I really could never have done this (or even known it could be done) without the CRAZY knowledge base of Treonauts. For anyone else looking to customize the 650's ROM: 1) If I did this, so can you. 2) Do NOT do this without Treonauts' help. The devil is in the details, and here with Treonauts I discovered details I didn't even know were there! Treonauts rule! (or, will soon, upon my completion of world domination.....to be accomplished after I get back from Costco.)

| .....world domination on hold........while my 650 is still working flawlessly, Costco was out of stock on the cray1supcomp.prc and BTdefensesatellitelink.prc I was after. Someone there even had the audacity to tell me that those apps don't exist. Sheesh!
