![]() | Sending/Receiving Hotmail and Work E-mails thru Versamail I understand that Hotmail does not support POP3 and therefore I cannot send and receive e-mails through Versamail. Is there any workaround for this? Also, at two different companies, I tried to get Versamail to send/receive company e-mails. At both places they told me, "We do not 'support' Treo, only Blackberry." What the hell do they mean, "do not support?" Do they mean they cannot make it work with a Treo or will not make it work with Treo? What does Blackberry have that a Treo does not? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Little app from Sprint: Sprint Mobile Email. Put that in your search on your Sprint Homepage. It will take you to the download for that application. I have been using it and love it. I get Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail pushed to my device. I can receive and reply to e-mails. I can also attach any file from my phone (i really only attach pics and word documents) and send them off. I really like this application and don't know why I hadn't used it or even knew about it until now. The site should tell you if your phone is compatible. Give it a try. |

![]() | The program works well. Thanks! I had problems with the download failing the first three times. Then it finally worked and installed. There are few things about the app that I don't like. 1. It uses the battery up much faster if you're pushing e-mails 2. If you're editing a reply message and use the directional keys, it leaves the edit screen and goes to the menu buttons. You have to pull out your stylus and use the scroll bar, which I don't like to do. 3. If you're reading a message and scroll down past the bottom, it pulls up the next message. I suppose this has its advantages, but I don't like it. 4. You have to back out through the main menu to get to Sent and Draft folders. It took me a long time to find drafts I had saved. The bottom menu button should allow you to switch to other folders. 5. I got a call once while typing a long reply message. I don't think my message was automatically saved in drafts and I had to retype it. If it wasn't saved, this is a major problem with the software. 6. I keep getting messages that "updates are available" and when I click to update, the update fails to load every time. I then manually launch a search for updates and it says, "No updates available." Weird! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hmmm... Those are some issues that I have experienced except for #6. To conserve battery power I have my e-mail updated every 2 hours. There isn't that much stuff that is so important for push. My battery lasts about 2 days like this. Other than having the same issues you have, I like the application. I retrieves my multiple e-mail accounts and I can view them on the go. Hopefully it works out for you until something out comes around. |
