That's exactly what I'm saying to myself. I haven't had a chance to contact Verizon but I think I'm going to take the advice of taking it to a Verizon store and have them look at the phone for me. Before I do that I'm going to contact Verizon's CSC again and see if I can get someone knowledgeable enough to figure this out for me.

I really hate this LG Chocolate phone...I don't know why I ever go it.

Welcome to verizon ! They will never blame the network but they will blame the phone . Sounds like a hung data session . Data coming in calls don't come in or out . Had that issue with 53 700wx that have been replaced in a month . 10 died right in the store , one after another . Your best bet is to get verizon to switch you a different tower . That sometimes solves the issue .

They kept telling me that it was something with the phone and not their network. I could try calling them back in hopes that I get someone who is more knowledgeable on situations like this. Not a problem ,bro . If you're on the east coast you might get lucky with the towers .

Mike , my ex gf pulled that number with a treo that had a hung data session . Verizon just froze her account for a week after that stint , just for kicks . Then she switched to sprint , worked out for her .
