 | SIM Update OMG! Its been 4 hours without a reboot!!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed  If this works my blood pressure and stress will surely drop. I've been trying to fix this thing for the last 8 months. I was looking at the Treo 750 with 6.1 and fell in love all over again with the Palm. | All went soooo well until I sync'd it for the first time.....the lights started flashing, the Palm Locked and now I'm back to reboot time. I did a soft reset without change. Safeguard says its the same phone line:601 issue as before. Anyone got a 750 for sale in good working order????? Beaner1717 |

| Now to figure out what. If you want a 750 I would suggest herein the marketplace if ones available and also ebay. I bought mine BNIB in 02/07 for 370.00 including s/h. check ebay here treo 750 items on eBay.com |

| ok now what I completed a hard reset and started a new named unit to start fresh.I cut copied and pasted my contacts that I typed in fresh yesterday (i know that file is uncorrupted). I'm trying to find a way to copy the calendar database from the old named unit to the newly named unit. By doing this I hope to have all the settings of the rebooted new unit instead of the old unit. Did that make sence? Beaner1717 |

|  Or maybe you can try this out. What I figured is that your ROM has bad blocks and even if you performed a Hard or even Zero-out Reset, it would still be the same. By resintalling the PalmOS directly via the SD Card, all bad blocks would be overwritten. Try this out since you already exhausted all other options. The links provided below are customs ENA ROMs which has been modified to include stuffs like the FAT32 & SDHC Patch. The stripped version does not include stuffs like Blazer, Versamail, Quicktour, etc but its ultralight & fast and its what Im currently using on my Black Tie. Links: Full English only: CNG_to_ENA.zip Stripped English only: Cust_ENA.zip To install: Backup Treo. Plugin Treo with Power Adapter, Insert SD card, WAIT - DO NOT REMOVE CARD until you get to the digitizer screen, it will reset many times during the process. Once card removed after digitizer setup finish setup and restore data. Moderator Edit: Remember, while these may be good files (I trust cyfer33, but haven't checked them personally) if you download and install them you do so at your own risk. If there is any inturruption while replacing the ROM, you chance bricking your phone. Use custom ROM's at your own risk.

|  Hmm.. maybe I was too anxious to help out a fellow Treonaut that I forgot (thanks forgot) the risks esp if the hotsync cable gets disconnected during update. Ive decided to remove the link and if Beaner1717 would still like to try it, he can contact me thru pm.
