![]() | was wondering about deleting the lastest update I have a 650 and downloaded an update a couple of years ago. It took lots of memory. I'm wanting to buy a centro and sync to my 650. Can I delete the update on the 650 without any remorse? So I don't have to install the update on the centro and want the space on the 650. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you are talking about having done a ROM update, then no, you can't simply delete it. You may be able to customize the ROM on your 650, I'm not sure. However, I do know that its a delicate procedure and easy to mess up. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | However, you should be able to replace it with one of the ROM updates put out by Palm. This should take it back to a "factory" state.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm a little confused about what you are asking. However, you can beam info from one device to another. |

![]() ![]() | the only problem would be moving programs from the 650 to the centro that might be incompatible due to newer version issues But data such as outlook information should sync over just fine.with the os |

![]() | I'm wanting to transfer the info (contacts, memos etc)on 650 to centro and didn't know if the rom update on 650 would mess up the centro. I appreciate the help ya'll have given. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | IC. Well, you could either Hotsync or beam them over. If it is mostly PIM data, there shouldn't be too much problem, other then the Centro infrared doesn't work all that well. |

![]() ![]() | when you buy the centro and synch it does not synch the operating system just the data. As long as the data and programs are compatible with the centro you should not have problems except maybe with conduit setup. |
