![]() | Download or Update to make the browser faster? Just wondering if there was anyway to speed up the internet on my 650? My 650 is with Sprint and is completely "stock" with no software upgrades or downloads done to it. Thanks! Mike |

![]() | There is nothing you can do except upgrade to a newer phone. (The browser is faster)

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If your Browser is super slow, it may be due to a provisioning problem or some other problem with Sprint (e.g. wrong user ID). I would recommend doing some speed tests and then post to see how they compare to other 650 owners. |

![]() | Speed test? I am an idiot when it comes to this stuff. Are there any trade up programs to get into a better phone? What phone do you suggest? Thanks again! Mike |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | While I do beleive there is an app that will do a speed test for you on Blazer, what I meant was simply timing how long it takes for it to boot up your site. As for updating your phone, Sprint has a generous plan of giving people something like $175 credit to update their phone, once their contract is over. If you want the latest phone, the Centro is worth a look. It has all the functionality of any other Palm OS phone and is better stocked with 3rd party apps. The only drawbacks are the battery life and the smaller keys (which those that own one, don't seem to complain about). Last edited by Treo Musketeers; 03-30-2008 at 08:38 PM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yep, the 755p is another one to look at if you want to stick with Palm OS.
