How to keep the screen ON in the charger?

How do you get the 650 screen to stay on in the charger stand? There is no disable for the "auto off" screen function.

I believe there is a power option to adjust the time before the screen turns off when plugged in.

You may want to look at a free app called AlwaysOn.

See: AlwaysOn with your Treo | Treonauts

I hope this helps.

Cheers, A.

Power Hero or Butler has this feature where you have your Treo docked in the docking station, or plugged into an outlet in the wall, and it keeps the Treo's screen on while it's plugged in, and once it's unplugged the screen goes off after the preset time you have for Auto-Off in Prefs.

Always on worked great on my 650, thanks for the advice. I will into power hero though, it looks safer so I don't forget to turn always on "off".

So here is what I found to keep the screen on
- "Always On" works, but it manual
- "Power Hero" does not have this function
- "Butler" should work automatically, I have not tired it, many people have.

Yes, Butler has the feature and I use it. Under "Auto-Off Preferences" I have checked "stay on if connected to charger." So my Treo stays on whether on the charger or in the cradle until/unless I power it off manually. Works like a charm.
