hot sync - Treo Forum

while trying to hot sync my treo 650, it asks if i want to make a new account. i say yes and it asks for a password. where do i get the password from. i purchased the phone used. then when i put the wrong password in, it says it is cleaning up because i didnot back up my data. any help

sounds like the previous owner did not do a hard reset to clear out the memory. do that and try to hotsync again. you'll have to make a new account for your treo, but that ought to solve your trouble. welcome to the forum!
