Bluetooth GPS and Treo 650

I'm looking to get a BT GPS receiver to use for intelligolf. Hence I don't need Tom Tom or any other GPS navigation package. I was looking at the Holux M1000 or one of the other inexpensive Holux GPS receivers. I was wondering if anyone has had some experience with these units in any capacity with their 650 and whether they work. I'm looking to spend less than $50 for the GPS unit.

I have been using the Holux M-1200 with TomTom6 on a Treo 650 for the past couple weeks. It all works very well together. Once you have the GPS receiver setup as a trusted device, I have found that if I start TT6, and then turn on the M-1200 the BT connection will be established faster. This result may vary with different software packages. I got the M-1200 for $42 shipped on ebay. I'm now working on optomizing a vehicle mount for the Treo.

I have been using the Holux 236 Slim GPS with TomTom 6 in my 650 Treo for six months. It's excellent. I wouldn't leave town without it. The voice directions and rerouting are fantastic. No annual fees! No data plan needed!

It was easy to install and worked right away.

Love it.
