How do I delete the keyboard - Treo Forum

I have been trying to delete a stowaway portable keyboard that belonged to my previous Kyocera. I have a Palm Universal Keyboard and had downloaded the latest version for my T650, but the keyboard does not work. What's worse, the icon on the Treo screen is for the Stowaway keyboard, version 1.8.5. When I try to delete it, I get an error message saying "unable to delete keyboard." There must be a way of doing this other than just a hard reset. Could anyone help me?

You could try using a freeware program like Filez to remove it, or transfer it onto an SD card for later deletion. Also, can you see the Palm Keyboard driver under the info menu?

Thanks forgot. I had transferred it to the SD card, but I could not delete it from the phone itself. Also, the Palm keyboard software I had installed is not showing as an icon on the T650 menu. What appears on the menu is my old Kyocera's stoway keyboard icon. Somehow it has embedded itself on my Treo650. I am going to download Filez to see if that will do the trick.

If that doesn't work, you could also try looking for it in your backup folder. Remove both of the keyboard programs you have, and then reinstall the correct one later.
