![]() | Needing some Help, it keeps turning on =( Heya, as of recently my treo just stopped turning on and loading onto where i can use it. Now all that happens is that it keeps turning on and loading. It never fully loads onto the "OS" and phone as to where i can use it. What i was thinking the problem was, was that it was so full of memory like pics and vids and stuff that it was unable to boot due to lack of memory. Anyways, i was wondering if anyone knew a solution or could provide any type of helpful information as i'm on vacation atm and verizon doesn't exist down here, and to top it all off none of the old verizon places will help me out. LoLz Also on that note, i have the sync cable and all but the software is nowhere to be found. i want to sync it to my desktop but that's when all the problems started. I hooked my cable to my computer and to the treo and pressed the button on the sync cable and the phone started going crazy... Hope that helps =/ Anything would be much appreciated. Thanks Dave |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sounds like your caught in a reset loop. I'm assuming you've tried a soft reset (taking the battery out)? If not, give it a try. Your other options are a warm, then hard reset. The hard reset will delete all of your info, and since your on vacation you might not want to do that. Unless of course you have a backup program.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The problem here is you won't be able to back up your info if your still caught in the reset loop. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you did a hotsync, then you should have information up to that point saved. You will need to do a hard reset. Hard Reset For the Treo or any other Palm device all you have to do is first backup all your data. A Hard Reset will erase all information on yout Palm handheld. First press the reset pin and hold down the power button at the same time. Release the pin but still hold down the power button. When the Palm Logo comes up release the power button. You should then see a message that says, "Erase all data?" If your Treo is backuped and you want go ahead press the up button on the 5-way navigator. If you don't want to press any other button on the Treo. Last edited by comiken205; 06-24-2007 at 11:23 PM. |

![]() | ok so i restarded it and as i feared it erased everything =( oh well is there any way to sync it wirelessly with my desktop? Also are there any ways to make like voip calls through the treo? or do i have to buy a ton of special equipment? Ultimately what it comes down to is that i owe verizon a ton of money so i wanna find a way to make calls for as cheap as possible using my cell phone... Anyone know any ways? What are my options? Thanks |
